Social Entrepreneurship

"Social entrepreneurship is the recognition of a social problem and the uses of entrepreneurial principles to organise, create and manage a social venture to achieve a desired social change. While a business entrepreneur typically measures performance in profit and return, a social entrepreneur also measures positive returns to society. Thus, the main aim of social entrepreneurship is to further broaden social, cultural, and environmental goals. Social entrepreneurs are commonly associated with the voluntary and not-for-profit sectors,[1] but this need not preclude making a profit. For as long as I can remember, I have always been involved in community projects, giving of my time and educational skills to the new generations

​

Imparting knowledge in terms of educating youth, training adults in corporate ventures to do better is a long line of my personal history.

​

In more recent years, I have endeavoured to give financial assistance to the less fortunate, books to libraries , clothing,  equipment  and food to the needy and less fortunate.

​

Social entrepreneurship comes in different forms and need not preclude making a profit.

​

Choice Ice Cream's latest social entrepreneurship project is  called 'Project Cape Town" and is design orientated to create jobs as well as uplift the arts, architecture and Tourism platforms of Cape Town on an international level.

We are very excited and have a fabulous team of enthusiasts on board all of whom specialise in different areas of the project and contribute to the advancement of job creation and excitement in Cape Town

We are looking forward to hiring as many enthuisiasts as possible and will be remunerating them for their contributions

Our Marketing Team will be creating a series of  events to highlight design and the arts fields thereby opening up a number of opportunity for Cape Townians and generating a lot of fun in the process
